About the Job
Start or develop your hospitality career at The Passenger, a globally inspired restaurant in downtown Longmont. We welcome applicants new to serving who enjoy helping people, learn quickly, and take pride in making guests feel welcome. This role includes table service and bar duties, with assignments based on training, demonstrated skills, and restaurant needs.
What you will learn and do:
- Learn our food and beverage menus, service steps, Toast point-of-sale system, and responsible alcohol service procedures through paid training.
- Welcome guests, answer menu questions, take accurate orders, and communicate dietary requests to the kitchen.
- Deliver food and drinks, care for guests at tables and the bar, and handle orders and payments accurately.
- Prepare cocktails, beer, wine, and nonalcoholic drinks to house recipes after training; follow ID checks, measured pours, and responsible service procedures.
- Help with running food, resetting tables, washing glassware, cleaning, restocking, and opening or closing work.
- Work with the team, accept feedback, and build the skills to manage a section or bar station independently.

- A friendly, attentive manner and clear communication with guests and coworkers.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and availability for the advertised shifts.
- Willingness to learn food and drink recipes, follow service standards, and complete assigned work.
- Ability to stay organized, ask for help when needed, and respond constructively to coaching.
- No serving experience is required. Bartending or other customer service experience is helpful. Applicants should be willing to learn both table service and bar duties; independent bar assignments follow training and a skills check.
Pay and Benefits:
Pay range provided is including tips. Tips vary with guest traffic, shift assignment, and the tip-sharing arrangement; no tip amount is guaranteed. Paid training and paid sick leave are provided.
