Help grow catering sales and event bookings while staying with each assigned client from the first inquiry through planning, event completion, and follow-up.
Approximately 80% of this role is sales and event coordination, with 20% supporting marketing. Client needs and event deadlines guide day-to-day priorities.
Sales and event coordination:
- Respond promptly to inquiries, understand client needs, make sales calls, prepare tailored proposals, conduct tours, and follow through to close bookings.
- Remain the primary client contact after booking. Confirm menus, guest counts, dietary needs, timelines, rentals, and other details; track changes and payment deadlines.
- Keep Tripleseat, event documents, and task records accurate. Coordinate with the owners, kitchen, operations team, and event captain so commitments are understood and delivered.
- Attend assigned walkthroughs and events as needed. Stay accountable for client communication through the event, working with the captain and operations team on execution.
- Complete post-event follow-up, address outstanding questions or balances with the appropriate team, gather feedback, and develop repeat business and referrals.
Supporting marketing duties
Use approximately 25% of your time for agreed marketing priorities: reels and TikTok videos, photos, flyers, listings and routine website updates, event promotion, newsletters, and community outreach. Maintain a manageable calendar, publish approved work, and report available results. Schedule these tasks around client follow-ups and event commitments.
Ownership and self reporting
Plan weekly priorities and deadlines. Update the shared tracker at the end of each shift and report planned versus completed work weekly, including lead follow-ups, bookings, upcoming event readiness, and marketing completed. Raise obstacles early with proposed solutions. Keep the owners informed without reminders.
Qualifications and benefits
Strong communication, organization, initiative, and follow-through are essential. Be comfortable selling by phone and in person, coordinating details, using business software, and creating basic marketing content. Sales, hospitality, or event coordination experience is preferred. Paid sick leave is provided in accordance with Colorado requirements.
